New students will receive support and advice from experienced and trained peers who have successfully transitioned to college. By participating you will:
- Feel supported as you transition from high school to college and gain the skills and confidence you will need to reach graduation.
- Adjust to the different classroom expectations and get connected to tutors and other learning resources.
- Develop plans to achieve academic and personal goals by creating a partnership with your academic adviser.
- Make friends and learn how to get more engaged and involved with your campus.
- Learn how and when to pay your bill and connect with the office of student aid (financial aid) to learn about resources for paying for college.
